I assume your are talking about the AC DELCO PF1218. The 'best' filter FRAM offers is a HP4 which is a racing filter. It is designed for high flow and has a 18 micron rating. K&N makes a filter that I was able to 'double cross reference' meaning I was able to direct cross from AC to K&N for an HP-3002. If you could let me know what vehicle you have I can see if this fits. K&N doesn't list a micron rating but for high performance engines they are very popular and have a great reputation. I think either one of these filters would work great for you.
